The Punjab and Haryana High Court, through the Society for Centralized Recruitment of Staff in Subordinate Courts, has released a major recruitment notification for 1265 Clerk posts. Online applications opened on May 26, 2026, and will remain active until June 23, 2026 on the official portal sssc.gov.in. This is one of the largest judiciary recruitment drives in Haryana in recent years.
Out of 1265 total vacancies, 1015 are existing posts as on December 31, 2025, and 250 are anticipated posts expected to be filled by June 30, 2026.
Key eligibility criteria:
- Educational qualification: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or equivalent from a recognised university
- Computer proficiency: Mandatory (word processing and spreadsheets)
- Language requirement: Hindi or Sanskrit at matriculation level or higher
- Age limit: Calculated as on January 1, 2026
Selection process:
- Stage 1: Computer Based Test covering General Knowledge and English Composition
- Stage 2: Computer Proficiency Test (qualifying only, does not add to merit)
- Final merit: Based entirely on written exam marks
Salary details:
- Monthly pay scale: Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 (Pay Level 4)
- Additional benefits: DA, HRA, and other government allowances
Haryana domicile is essential for availing reservation benefits. Government employees applying must obtain a No Objection Certificate from their department. The application form is entirely online and no offline applications will be accepted.
