The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) will release the MET 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result today, June 8, 2026, after 8:00 PM at the official counselling portal @counseling.manipal.edu. The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) seat allotment covers BTech admissions across four Manipal Group campuses in India for the academic year 2026-27. Allotted candidates must confirm their admission and pay the first instalment of tuition fees before June 15, 2026.
MET 2026 was conducted in two phases. MAHE confirmed that for candidates who appeared in both phases, only the best score from either phase will be considered for merit-based seat allocation.

How to Check MET 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment
- Visit @counseling.manipal.edu
- Click on the BTech Seat Allotment link
- Log in using your MAHE Application Number and Password
- Your seat allotment status will appear on the candidate dashboard
- Download the seat allotment letter if allotted
MET 2026 Admission Criteria
Seat allotment is based on a 50:50 weightage formula combining MET score and Class 12 PCM marks. JEE Main 2026 scores are also accepted by MAHE for Manipal admissions. Candidates who registered through JEE Main scores are also eligible for allotment through the same portal.
What Allotted Candidates Must Do Before June 15
- Log in to @counseling.manipal.edu and confirm seat acceptance
- Pay the first instalment of tuition fee within June 8 to June 15 to lock the seat
- Non-payment by June 15 will result in automatic cancellation of the allotted seat
- Round 2 counselling will be announced for candidates not allotted in Round 1 and for seats left vacant after Round 1 confirmation
Can Fresh Registrations Join Round 2 and Round 3
Yes. MAHE allows fresh registrations for every round of MET counselling. Candidates who missed Round 1 registration can still register and participate in Round 2 and Round 3 at @counseling.manipal.edu.
MET 2026 Round 1 Cutoff will also be released by MAHE alongside the seat allotment result today after 8 PM. Cutoffs will be published programme-wise and campus-wise, reflecting demand for each BTech branch at each participating institute.
