The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode has collaborated with Guru Ghasidas University (GGU), Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh for a student exchange program under the Yuva Sangam phase IV. This initiative falls under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat campaign of the Education Ministry.
Registration is open till February 4th for 45 students – 35 from Kerala and 10 from Lakshadweep – to visit GGU Bilaspur likely in April/May 2023. Eligibility includes UG, PG, PhD scholars, NSS/NYKS volunteers between 18-30 years. Travel, food and accommodation will be arranged by the host university.
GGU Bilaspur will also be sending 45 students to be hosted by IIM Kozhikode for 5 days. IIM Director Debashis Chatterjee highlighted that such cultural exchanges align with NEP 2020 goals of experiential learning and appreciating India’s diversity. Participants gain immersive exposure to tourism, traditions, development, people and technology of other states.
Yuva Sangam focuses on organizing educational-cum-cultural tours for youth to facilitate multidimensional experiences and interstate bonding.

Eligible students can register by February 4, including undergraduates, postgraduates, PhD students, NSS/NYKS volunteers, and youths aged 18 to 30. This initiative aligns with the National Education Policy’s focus on experiential learning and cultural exchange, providing students with a diverse and immersive experience.
