New Delhi, March 19, 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is administering the Class 12 biology exam 2024. Running from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, the exam spans three hours and is worth a total of 70 marks for the theory paper. Students must procure their CBSE Class 12 admit card 2024 for the biology paper via the official website – cbse.gov.in. These admit cards serve as mandatory entry tickets to the examination centers.
Reporting and Exam Duration
- Candidates are required to report to the exam center 30 minutes before the biology exam’s commencement.
- An additional grace period of 15 minutes is allotted for reading the question paper before the actual exam begins.
Prohibited Items and Dress Code:
- Students are cautioned against bringing electronic devices such as mobile phones, pen drives, smartwatches, etc., into the examination hall.
- As per the CBSE board exam 2024 dress code, regular students must adhere to school uniform guidelines, while private candidates have the flexibility to don decent attire.

- Section A: Comprising 16 questions with 1 mark each (16 marks total)
