The original deadline of 9 July 2026 has now been pushed back by a week, giving qualified candidates more time to complete their registration and upload the required documents on the official portal.
TS PGECET 2026 Counselling: What Has Changed
Under the earlier schedule, online registration and certificate upload for Phase 1 counselling were to close on 9 July 2026, followed by special category document verification. With the fresh extension, all eligible candidates, including those with valid GATE 2024, 2025, or 2026 scores, can now complete both registration and certificate upload on the counselling portal until 16 July 2026. This extension applies specifically to the M.E., M.Tech, and M.Arch admission stream; the schedule for M.Pharmacy and Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate) programmes remains separate and unaffected.
Steps to Complete TS PGECET 2026 Counselling Registration
Candidates who are yet to register can follow these steps before the revised deadline:
- Visit the official counselling portal, pgecetadm.tgche.ac.in
- Log in using your TS PGECET 2026 hall ticket number and rank details
- Pay the counselling processing fee online (₹1,200 for General/OC/BC, ₹600 for SC/ST)
- Upload scanned copies of all required academic and category certificates
