New Delhi, March 20, 2024: The State Selection Board (SSB) Odisha has commenced the registration process for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in non-government-aided higher secondary schools in Odisha. Candidates should fill out the application form by April 18, 2024, on the official website at ssbodisha.ac.in. The recruitment campaign aims to fill a total of 1,061 PGT posts.

SC, ST, and PwD category candidates: Rs 200
Unreserved (UR) and socially and economically backward classes (SEBC) category candidates: Rs 500
SSB Odisha Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age: Candidates must be between 21 years old and 38 years old as of January 2024. Upper age limit relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates.
SSB Odisha Recruitment 2024: Exam Pattern
Written Exam: The exam will carry 150 marks and consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Duration: Two hours
Marking Scheme: Each question carries 1.5 marks, with a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrect answer.
Qualifying Marks: 40% for unreserved category candidates and 30% for SC, ST, SEBC, and PwD category candidates.
Exam Centers: The written exam will be conducted at various centers across Balasore, Berhampur, Bhawanipatna, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jeypore, Keonjhar, Rourkela, and Sambalpur, depending on the number of candidates from each zone.
