New Delhi, March 21, 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced that the re-examination for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles will take place on March 30, 2024.
Reason for Re-Exam: The decision to conduct the re-exam was made due to venue-specific technical issues observed during the review of the previous exam conducted between February 20 and March 7.
Candidates Affected: The re-exam will be held for 16,185 candidates who appeared at various exam centers in cities including Kanpur, Varanasi, Lucknow, Roorkee, Patna, Agra, Prayagraj, Dehradun, Dibrugarh, Itanagar, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, Hazaribagh, Meerut, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, and Gaya.
Exam Centers: The list of exam centers where the re-exam will be conducted has been notified in the latest notification.
Admit Card and Schedule: More details regarding the admit card and exam schedule will be announced soon on the official website, ssc.gov.in.
Eligibility: Only candidates who appeared earlier in the Computer Based Exam for Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles Examination, 2024 conducted from February 20 to March 7 will be permitted to appear in the re-examination.
Cancellation of Previous Results: Recently, the SSC canceled the SSC Constable GD 2022 results declared on March 15 for Manipur candidates due to discrepancies in the data of the physical and medical tests conducted in multiple phases.
