New Delhi, March 21, 2024: The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has commenced the registration process for the State Eligibility Test (SET) 2024. The registration window for MPPSC SET 2024 opens today, March 21, 2024. Interested candidates can fill out the registration form on the official website, mppsc.mp.gov.in, until April 20. The application correction window will be open from March 27 to April 22, 2024.
Candidates should possess a postgraduate degree in a related subject with a minimum of 55% marks to apply for MPPSC SET 2024. There is no age limit to apply for the MP SET 2024 exam.
MPPSC SET 2024: Application Fees
Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other backward class, EWS, and Disabled category native candidates of MP need to pay an application fee of Rs 250.
General category candidates and those residing outside of MP will pay an application fee of Rs 500.
MPPSC SET 2024: Exam Pattern
The MP SET will comprise two papers: the General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude, and the Selected Subject Paper.
Paper 1 will be of 1-hour duration, worth 100 marks, while Paper 2 will be held for 2 hours, worth 200 marks.
Unreserved category candidates must score a minimum aggregate of 40% in both papers to clear the written examination, while reserved category candidates need to score a minimum of 35%.
