New Delhi, March 27, 2024: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the postponement of the Class 12 Psychology exam, originally scheduled for the next day, due to the reported loss of question paper packets at an examination center. The new exam date is April 4 at 2 pm.
Sangeeta Bhatia, the deputy secretary of the board, stated, “An examination center has reported the loss of a Class 12 Psychology question paper. The examination has been postponed. The centers should hand over the question paper to the convenor as soon as possible.”
This decision comes in the wake of concerns about the security of the examination process, particularly in light of reports of question paper leaks. Notably, on February 26, CISCE had previously postponed the Class 12 board exams for Chemistry due to unforeseen circumstances, though the board has yet to confirm any instances of paper leaks.
