New Delhi, March 27, 2024: The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2024) results for admission into MBA and MCA programs will be declared by Anna University Chennai tomorrow, March 28. Candidates who participated in this state-level entrance exam can access their TANCET 2024 results from the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu.
After the results are announced, qualified candidates will be able to download their TANCET 2024 scorecards from April 3 to May 3. Candidates must download and retain their scorecards, as they are required during the admission process. In case of loss, a duplicate scorecard can be obtained by submitting a written request along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 300 to the Secretary (TANCET), Anna University, Chennai.
A total of 39,301 candidates participated in the TANCET 2024 exam, seeking admission into various courses offered by institutions in Tamil Nadu. The exam assesses candidates’ knowledge of quantitative ability, analytical ability, logical reasoning, computer awareness, and verbal activity.
Regarding the exam pattern, the TANCET question paper consisted of 100 multiple-choice questions, with each correct answer carrying one mark. However, there is a negative marking of 1/4th for each incorrect answer, and multiple shading is also considered as a wrong answer with a deduction of 1/4 mark.

- Open Category: 38-40
- OBC: 33.25-35.5
- ST: 19-36
- SC: 20.5-35.5
