New Delhi 6 April 2024: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has announced the much-awaited schedule for the State Service Exam (SSE) Mains 2023. Candidates who cleared the preliminary round can now prepare for the main examination slated to take place from June 24 to June 27, 2024.A total of 3,597 candidates have been shortlisted to appear for the CGPSC SSE Mains 2023, which will be followed by a Physical Eligibility Test (PET). The commission aims to fill 242 vacancies through this recruitment drive.
CGPSC SSE Mains 2023 Exam Dates and Shift Timings
According to the timetable released on psc.cg.gov.in, the official website, the Mains exam will be conducted over four days, with exams on June 24, 25, and 26 being held in two shifts:
- First Shift: 9 AM to 12 PM
- Second Shift: 2 PM to 5 PM
The exam on June 27 will be held only in the first shift from 9 AM to 12 PM.

June 24 2024:
- Paper 1 (Language) – 9 AM to 12 PM
- Paper 2 (Essay) – 2 PM to 5 PM
June 25 2024:
- Paper 3 (General Studies 1) – 9 AM to 12 PM
- Paper 4 (General Studies 2) – 2 PM to 5 PM
June 26 2024:
- Paper 5 (General Studies 3) – 9 AM to 12 PM
- Paper 6 (General Studies 4) – 2 PM to 5 PM
June 27 2024:
- Paper 7 (General Studies 5) – 9 AM to 12 PM
Application Process
The registration window for CGPSC SSE Mains 2023 is currently open, and candidates have until May 2, 2024, to complete their application on the official website. An application form correction window will also be available from May 3 to May 7, 2024.
To apply, visit psc.cg.gov.in, log in with your credentials, fill out the application form, pay the fee, and submit. You can also download the confirmation page for future reference.
