New Delhi, April 9, 2024 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the reopening of the registration window for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2024. Candidates who have not yet registered for the medical entrance exam can now submit their application forms through the official website, neet.ntaonline.in.
The NEET UG registration 2024 process will be open for a limited period of just two days – April 9 and April 10 (up to 10:50 pm). This is a one-time opportunity for applicants to complete their registration, as no further chance will be given after this window closes.
NEET UG 2024: Application Process
Candidates can opt to log in and identify themselves for online form submission using the following options:
- Aadhaar Card
- Digi Locker
- ABC ID
- Passport
- PAN Card
- School or any other valid government identity card with a photograph
NEET UG 2024: Exam Details
- Exam Mode: Offline
- Exam Duration: 3 hours 20 minutes
- Exam Timing: 2 pm to 5:20 pm
- Total Questions: 200 (180 questions to be attempted)
- Total Marks: 720
- Exam Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany + Zoology)
- Marking Scheme: 4 marks for each correct answer, one mark deducted for each incorrect answer, no deduction for unattempted or extra attempted questions
The NEET UG 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2024, across 14 cities in India. The test will be offered in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya, Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi, and Urdu.
