MP SET Eligibility Criteria 2025 has been announced by MPPSC. Applications will be accepted from 25 October to 20 November 2025 on the official website. There is no age limit for candidates. Educational qualifications require completed or ongoing post-graduation from a recognised university. General and OBC (Creamy Layer) candidates need 55% marks in PG, while SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) and disabled candidates from MP need 50%. EWS category requires 55% marks. Final-year PG students can apply provisionally but must obtain required marks within two years of result declaration. PhD holders who completed PG before 19 September 1991 get 5% relaxation. Foreign degree holders need equivalence certificate from AIU. Reservation benefits apply only to MP residents. Applications with incorrect information will be rejected. Basic Eligibility Requirements for MP SET 2025

The Madhya Pradesh State Eligibility Test (MP SET) 2025 has no age restrictions for applicants. Educational qualifications require candidates to have completed or be pursuing post-graduation from a recognized university. General category and OBC (Creamy Layer) candidates need 55% marks in their post-graduation, while SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) and disabled candidates from Madhya Pradesh require 50%. Candidates from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) must secure 55% marks. The application process will run from October 25 to November 20, 2025, through the official MPPSC website.

Special Provisions and Important Guidelines

Final-year post-graduation students can apply provisionally for MP SET 2025 but must obtain the required percentage within two years of result declaration. PhD holders who completed their post-graduation before September 19, 1991, receive a 5% relaxation in the required marks. Candidates with foreign degrees need to provide an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities. Reservation benefits are available only to permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission warns that applications containing incorrect information will be rejected, so candidates should verify all details before submission.
