NEET UG 2026 Registration: National Testing Agency (NTA) has now started the NEET UG 2026 registration process from February 8,2026. NEET UG stands for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate, it is the most important entrance test for students who want to pursue a career in the medical/health field in India. Through this exam, students can take admission in several courses such as MBBS, BDS, BVSc & AH, AYUSH, BHMS, B.Sc. Nursing, and several other undergraduate medical programs.
For the session of NEET UG 2026 Registration, the NTS has introduced important updates and changes in the registration process to improve accuracy and security. Students are advised to carefully read all the instructions before filling the application form.
The whole registration process is online and students are required to apply only through the official NEET website. No offline form will be accepted and applications submitted through any other website will not be considered valid. During the registration process, students need to enter their personal details, academic information, contact details and upload some required documents.

NEET UG 2026 Registration Window and Dates
NTA has opened their online registration window for one month. The last date for NEET UG application submission is 8 March 2026. Students must complete their online registration and pay the application fee before 11:50 PM on March 8.
After the main registration, a correction will be available on 10 March to 12 March, where candidates can edit details in their form (if needed).
The NEET UG 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on May 3, 2026 in offline mode from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

NEET UG exam is open to a wide range of applicants who meet the eligibility criteria set by the NTA. Interested medical students must have completed their class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English from a recognized board. There is no maximum age limit for candidates, but they must have completed 17 years of age by December 31, 2026.

For NEET UG 2026, the National Testing Agency has also introduced new verification steps to improve security and prevent misuse of the application process.
- Aadhaar-based eKYC (electronic Know Your Customer) for identity verification.
- Live photo capture during registration, where the student’s photo must be taken and uploaded in real time.
