The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the Class 12 examination results for the 2025-26 academic session on May 13, 2026. The overall pass percentage stands at 85.20 percent, reflecting consistent academic performance standards across India’s largest national board examination system.

Students accessed their official results through multiple authorized channels including cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, the DigiLocker application, and the UMANG mobile application. The board’s multi-platform result distribution system ensured equitable access for students across urban and rural regions nationwide.

The Class 10 Phase 1 examination results were announced earlier on April 15, 2026. This year’s board examination structure introduced a phased approach for Class 10, with Phase 1 conducted between February 17 and March 11, 2026, and Phase 2 scheduled from May 15 to June 1, 2026. This bifurcated schedule provided flexibility for students and aligns with NEP 2020 recommendations for adaptive examination frameworks.

Students unable to achieve passing grades in one or two subjects are eligible to appear for supplementary examinations officially scheduled for July 15, 2026. This provision enables students to complete their board certification without losing an entire academic year, maintaining continuity in their educational progression and subsequent higher education admissions.

Digital marksheets are accessible through DigiLocker using Aadhaar-linked mobile numbers, eliminating the need for physical document procurement. The UMANG application provides alternative access to official marks, while SMS-based result retrieval remains available for candidates without stable internet connectivity.

EXAMINATION RESULTS SNAPSHOT:

CBSE Class 12 Result Date: May 13, 2026 Pass Percentage: 85.20 Percent CBSE Class 10 Phase 1 Date: April 15, 2026 Supplementary Exam Date: July 15, 2026 Result Access: cbse.gov.in, DigiLocker, UMANG App Eligible for Supplementary: Students failing 1-2 subjects

With board results now official, students are transitioning to higher education admission processes. Engineering aspirants focus on JEE Advanced scores, medical candidates await NEET results, and general stream students prepare for CUET University entrance examinations. Students requiring supplementary examinations must register immediately to avoid missing the July 15 deadline, as delayed supplementary clearances can affect later-round university admissions. Parents should help students identify subject-specific improvement strategies and connect with school academic coordinators regarding supplementary examination registration procedures.
