With the NEET MDS 2026 result officially declared on June 2, 2026, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) is expected to announce the NEET MDS 2026 counselling schedule shortly on its official portal @mcc.nic.in. Individual scorecards for qualified candidates will be made available from June 6, 2026 through a candidate login on @natboard.edu.in. The counselling will cover 50 percent All India Quota (AIQ) seats, Deemed University seats, Central University seats, ESIC seats, and AFMC seats across dental colleges and institutions in India.
Approximately 30,435 candidates had registered for NEET MDS 2026. The topper scored 802 out of 960 marks, surpassing last year’s best score of 779, indicating a highly competitive batch of dental postgraduate aspirants this year.

- Log in with your User ID and Password
- Click on the Scorecard download link
- Save the PDF as the scorecard download window is open for only 6 months. Candidates must download and preserve it immediately

MCC Counselling Process Overview
MCC typically conducts three regular rounds of NEET MDS counselling followed by one Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates must:
- Register on @mcc.nic.in during the registration window
- Fill and lock college and speciality preferences in the prescribed order
- Pay the participation fee and seat acceptance fee within deadlines
- Report to the allotted college or institution within the joining timeline
Based on the 2024 cycle, NEET MDS Round 1 counselling started approximately three to four weeks after result declaration. Following this trend, the 2026 Round 1 counselling is expected to begin in late June 2026.
Candidates should begin preparing their documents now: BDS degree certificate, internship completion certificate, NEET MDS 2026 scorecard, date of birth proof, category certificate, and relevant ID documents. The entire MCC process is conducted online only with no physical or offline counselling centre.
