The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) officially declared the KCET 2026 (UGCET) result on June 6, 2026, following a formal press conference by Medical Education Minister and KEA Chairman Dr Sharan Prakash Patil at 12 Noon. The result download link was activated at 2:00 PM on the official KEA portals. Tanisha Karthik of RV PU College, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, secured Rank 1 in the Engineering stream. In Farm Sciences, Navana Gopi of Base PU College, Bengaluru, topped multiple streams including Veterinary Sciences, BSc Nursing, and Yoga and Naturopathy — a remarkable multi-stream achievement.
A total of 3,30,479 candidates appeared for the KCET 2026 examination conducted on April 22, 23, and 24, 2026, across 745 centres in Karnataka. Of these, 2,92,782 candidates were declared eligible as per their UGCET 2026 score. The Engineering stream covered the highest number of eligible candidates at 2,82,603.
