Today is the final day for CBSE Class 12 students to apply for verification of marks and re-evaluation of answer sheets. The portal at @cbse.gov.in closes at midnight on June 7, 2026, after which no applications will be accepted under any circumstances. The Board extended this deadline by one day from June 6, citing the unprecedented volume of student demand and the cyber attacks that disrupted portal access earlier this week.
The CBSE has confirmed that it received 70,433 successful applications by June 4, 2026 — including 7,314 verification of marks requests and 63,119 re-evaluation applications. This is the highest volume of post-result applications in CBSE’s history, reflecting the scale of student concern over the On-Screen Marking (OSM) evaluation system deployed for the first time in 2026.
