The AP POLYCET 2026 seat allotment Round 1 result has been released today, 7 July, 2026, by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh, on the official counselling portal, polycet.ap.gov.in. Candidates who completed registration, certificate verification, and web options entry can now check whether they have secured a seat at one of the participating polytechnic colleges. Around 82,870 seats across 267 colleges are up for allotment this year, based on candidates’ merit rank, category, and locked web options.
How to Check AP POLYCET 2026 Seat Allotment Status
Candidates can follow these steps to check their AP POLYCET 2026 seat allotment result:

- Visit the official portal — polycet.ap.gov.in
- Click on the “Round 1 Seat Allotment Result” or Candidate Login link
- Enter your Hall Ticket Number, ICR Form Number, Password, and Date of Birth
- Your allotted college and branch will be displayed on the screen
- Download the Seat Allotment Order PDF and take a printout for reporting
Self-Reporting and College Reporting Schedule
Candidates who are allotted a seat must complete both online self-reporting and physical reporting at the allotted institute to confirm admission. As per the revised counselling calendar:
- Self-reporting and college reporting: 8 July to 11 July 2026
- Classes for the new academic session are scheduled to begin from 8 July, 2026
Candidates who fail to complete self-reporting and physical verification within this window may lose their allotted seat and will have to depend on subsequent rounds or the spot round for any vacancies.
Documents Required at the Time of Reporting
Candidates must carry the following original documents along with photocopies while reporting to the allotted college for the AP POLYCET 2026 seat allotment process:
- AP POLYCET 2026 Hall Ticket and Rank Card
- SSC (Class 10) memo of marks and study certificate
- Category certificate (for BC/SC/ST candidates)
- Income and local area certificates, where applicable
- Special certificates (NCC, PH, CAP, Sports), if claiming reservation
Candidates who are not allotted a seat in Round 1, or wish to consider better options, can wait for the internal sliding round and the subsequent spot round, which will be conducted for seats left vacant after Round 1 reporting concludes. No separate merit list is published for allotment — it is generated directly against each candidate’s rank card and web options, so candidates should recheck their locked preferences carefully if the result seems unexpected. For further updates on Round 2 counselling, cutoffs, and college-wise allotment trends, candidates are advised to keep checking polycet.ap.gov.in regularly.
