The University of Delhi has reminded lakhs of undergraduate aspirants that Phase 2 registration for the Common Seat Allocation System closes on July 11, 2026. More than 82,940 candidates have already completed Phase 1 registration, which began on June 26 at the official admission portal.
In Phase 2, students must map their Class 12 subjects with their CUET UG 2026 papers and submit programme and college preferences in order of priority. The university has introduced automatic data integration from the CUET database this year, reducing manual entry errors during registration. Simulated ranks will be released on July 12 and 13, giving students a preview before the first seat allocation list is announced on July 16.

Students allotted a seat must accept it by July 18, complete document verification by July 20, and pay admission fees by July 21. Missing the July 11 deadline means exclusion from the first round entirely.
Quick Update: DU CSAS Phase 2 closes July 11. First seat list July 16. Over 82,940 students already registered.
