The ATMA July 2026 exam will be conducted tomorrow, 12 July 2026, by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). This computer-based test is held in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and forms the basis for admission into MBA, PGDM, MMS and MCA programmes at over 700 participating B-schools across India. With the exam just a day away, candidates should finalise their exam-day preparation and go through the official guidelines carefully.
Admit cards for the ATMA July 2026 exam were released on 8 July 2026 through the candidate login on atmaaims.com, using the registered PID and password. Since the admit card is session-specific, candidates must ensure they carry the one issued for the July session and not an earlier one.

ATMA July 2026 Exam: Reporting Time and Centre Rules
Candidates appearing for the ATMA July 2026 exam must reach their test centre well ahead of time:
- Reporting time: before 1:00 PM
- Gate closing time: 1:40 PM sharp
- Candidates arriving after the gates close will not be permitted entry under any circumstances.
Arriving early gives candidates enough time to complete the login process, get seated and read through the on-screen instructions before the test begins.
Documents Required for ATMA Exam Day
To be allowed inside the test centre for the ATMA July 2026 exam, candidates must carry the following:
- Two colour printouts of the admit card, each with a passport-size photograph affixed
- Printout of the ATMA application form with a photograph
- Self-declaration form, downloadable from atmaaims.com
- Original government-issued photo ID — Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID or Driving Licence, along with a photocopy
Ration cards and learner’s driving licences are not accepted as valid ID proof. Candidates should keep both original documents and photocopies ready in advance to avoid delays at the centre.
Exam Day Guidelines and Restrictions
AIMS has laid out strict exam day guidelines for the ATMA July 2026 exam to ensure a smooth and fair testing process:
- Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches and other gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
- The test centre does not provide photocopying or printing facilities, so all documents must be prepared beforehand.
- Any form of malpractice, including arguing with exam officials or attempting unfair means, can lead to cancellation of the candidature.
- The paper consists of 180 questions across six sub-sections, to be completed within the 180-minute window.
What Happens After the Exam
Once the ATMA July 2026 exam concludes, AIMS is expected to declare results on 18 July 2026 on the official website. Candidates will be able to check their overall scaled score, section-wise performance and all-India percentile using their PID and password. This score will then be used by participating institutes for shortlisting candidates to the next stages of admission.
Candidates are advised to keep their admit card and ID proof easily accessible on exam day and to reach the centre with sufficient buffer time, given the strict 1:40 PM gate-closing rule.
