The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced the WBBSE Madhyamik Datesheet through an official notification issued on 13 July 2026. As of today, 14 July 2026, students can check the complete schedule, which confirms that the Madhyamik examinations will be conducted from 15 February 2027 to 25 February 2027. The board has released the subject-wise routine along with exam timings, allowing lakhs of Class 10 students across West Bengal to plan their preparation well in advance.
Exam Timings and Key Guidelines
As per the WBBSE Madhyamik Datesheet, examinations will be held from 10:45 am to 2:00 pm each day. The first 15 minutes, from 10:45 am to 11:00 am, have been reserved exclusively as reading time, during which students are not permitted to start writing answers. This reading period allows candidates to go through the question paper carefully and plan their answers before the writing time officially begins. The board has also clarified that dates, timings, and venues for practical examinations in subjects such as Music, Computer Application, and other vocational subjects will be announced separately by the concerned authorities at a later stage. Students appearing for these practical components are advised to stay in touch with their respective schools for further updates once the separate notification is issued.

How to Download the Complete Schedule
Students and parents looking to access the full routine can follow these steps:
- Visit the official WBBSE website at wbbse.wb.gov.in.
- Look for the notification link related to the Madhyamik 2027 routine.
- Click on the link to open the exam schedule PDF.
- Check subject-wise dates and exam timings carefully.
- Download and save the routine for future reference.
Schools are also expected to display the official routine on notice boards and share it with students through respective class teachers, so candidates are advised to cross-check the schedule with their school in case of any doubt. Keeping a printed or saved digital copy of the routine handy throughout the preparation period can also help avoid last-minute confusion closer to the exam dates.
What Students Should Do Next
With the WBBSE Madhyamik Datesheet now officially out, students have over seven months to prepare a structured study plan before the board exams begin. Since Madhyamik marks a major milestone in a student’s academic journey, education experts often recommend starting subject-wise revision early, focusing more time on subjects perceived as difficult, and taking regular mock tests closer to the exam dates.
Based on the current academic calendar, the Madhyamik 2027 result is expected to be declared around May 2027, following the same pattern as previous years. Students are encouraged to keep checking the official WBBSE website regularly for updates on admit cards, practical exam schedules, and any other announcements related to the WBBSE Madhyamik Datesheet and the upcoming board examination.
