Candidates applying for MBA and MMS admission through Maharashtra’s Centralised Admission Process must complete their pending steps today, 20 July 2026, by 5:00 PM. The MAH CET CAP 2026 registration and document upload window, which opened on 2 July, was earlier extended to 19 July, and the final document verification deadline has now been pushed to today. Candidates who have not yet confirmed their application should log in to the official portal, www.mahacet.org, without delay.

What Closes Today

The State CET Cell had already extended the registration and document upload deadline once, from 12 July to 19 July, 5:00 PM. Following that, the document verification window, which allows candidates to confirm their application through E-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny mode, has been extended further to close today. Only candidates who complete verification and get their application confirmed by a scrutiny centre will be considered for the provisional merit list and subsequent seat allotment rounds.

Who Can Apply

Any candidate who scored more than zero in the MAH MBA CET 2026 exam is eligible to participate in the counselling process. Maharashtra domicile candidates apply under the MH category, while candidates from the rest of India apply under the All India category. Applicants holding valid CAT, CMAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, or GMAT scores can also register under the All India category even without a MAH CET score. Registration fees are ₹1,500 for General category candidates and ₹1,300 for Reserved category candidates, payable online.

How to Complete Registration and Verification

Candidates who have not yet finished the process should follow these steps immediately:

  • Log in to www.mahacet.org using registered credentials.
  • Fill in personal, academic, and correspondence details, and pay the applicable fee.
  • Upload scanned documents, including mark sheets, category certificates, and the domicile certificate where applicable.
  • Choose either E-Scrutiny (online document upload and remote verification) or Physical Scrutiny (visiting a designated Facilitation Centre) to confirm the application.
  • Download the confirmation slip once verification is complete.
