The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) has begun the Gujarat NEET Counselling 2026 process for MBBS and BDS admissions under the 85% state quota. The notice was posted on the official portal, medadmgujarat.org, on 31 July 2026. Candidates who qualified NEET UG 2026 can now purchase their PIN and complete registration to be considered for seat allotment across the state’s medical and dental colleges.
Gujarat NEET Counselling 2026: Registration Dates
Online PIN purchase and registration for Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2026 opened on 31 July 2026 and will remain open till 12 August 2026. Candidates must complete this step before proceeding to document verification, which is being held from 3 August to 13 August 2026, up to 4:00 PM, at designated help centres across the state. Applicants are advised to keep scanned and physical copies of their NEET scorecard, Class 12 marksheet, domicile certificate, category certificate, and Aadhaar card ready for this stage.
Who Can Apply
This counselling round covers admission to roughly 7,500 MBBS seats spread across more than 40 NMC-approved colleges in Gujarat, along with BDS seats, all filled under the 85% state quota. The remaining 15% All India Quota seats in Gujarat’s government medical colleges are filled separately by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Candidates must hold a valid Gujarat domicile certificate and meet the minimum qualifying marks in Class 12 Physics, Chemistry, and Biology to be eligible for the state quota process. Reserved category candidates should also keep their category certificates ready, as these will be checked during document verification. The schedule for AYUSH courses such as BAMS and BHMS will be released separately by ACPUGMEC once the medical and dental rounds are underway.
