TS LAWCET Phase 2: What Led Up to the Result
TS LAWCET Counselling was conducted on May 18, 2026, with results declared on June 4. Counselling opened on July 5, and the first phase allotment list came out on August 5. Candidates eligible for Phase 2 included those who skipped Round 1, those who wanted to upgrade an existing allotment, and those who missed reporting after Round 1.
Phase 2 registration ran from August 19 to 22, followed by a web-options window from August 23 to 25, with a single day set aside on August 26 for edits. Reporting Schedule and Documents Required
Candidates featured in the Phase 2 list must report to their allotted college between August 31 and September 5, 2026, to confirm the seat. Reporting typically involves submitting original academic certificates, category and income certificates where applicable, and the tuition fee receipt for verification. Candidates who already held a Phase 1 seat and receive a different Phase 2 allotment forfeit the earlier seat and must report to the newly allotted college instead. It is advisable to retain both the counselling registration receipt and the downloaded allotment letter until admission formalities are fully complete.
What Comes After TS LAWCET Counselling Phase 2
If seats remain vacant across participating law colleges after Phase 2 reporting concludes, TGCHE may conduct a Phase 3 counselling round to fill them. Candidates who do not secure a seat in Phase 2, or who wish to try for a different college, would get another opportunity to submit fresh web options at that stage. Admission is offered for both the 3-year LLB and the 5-year integrated LLB programmes across participating colleges in Telangana. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official portal regularly for updates on any further rounds of counselling.
