The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) has opened its annual application for prestigious Fulbright-Nehru and other Fulbright fellowships for 2025-2026. Indian citizens can now apply for these fully-funded opportunities to study, research or teach in the US. Applicants are evaluated based on – academic credentials, proposed project merit, communication ability, community service record, research need, expected outcomes/impact, leadership potential and cross-cultural adaptability.
To apply, visit usief.org.in, click on ‘Fulbright Fellowships’ and review successful past proposals. Selection committees identify promising individuals with projects relevant to both countries who can serve as cultural ambassadors. These fellowships are financed by the US State Department and Government of India.
