February 13, 2024, Chandigarh: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has commenced the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2024 from today, February 13, 2024, beginning with the Punjab History and Culture paper. The exams are being held as per schedules and will conclude on March 6.
According to the timetable, the Class 10 exam will span around three hours from 10 AM to 1 PM every day. However, an additional 20 minutes will be allotted to differently-abled students.
The PSEB 12th exams are slated in one shift from 11 AM to 2:15 PM with 15 minutes of extra reading time allotted before commencement. Both exams will be conducted on a full-portion syllabus basis as per declared schemes.
PSEB Exam Guidelines
Students are mandated to carry their PSEB admit card 2024 and valid school ID proof to the allotted test center. They also need to report 30 minutes in advance following electronic gadget restrictions. Use of unfair means can lead to cancellation of candidature.
PSEB Class 10 History Paper Format
The PSEB 10th Punjab History and Culture question paper format is as follows:
Multiple Choice Questions: 20 marks
Objective Type Questions: 10 marks
Short Answer Questions: 20 marks
Source Based Questions: 10 marks
Long Answer Questions: 5 marks
