February 13th, 2024, Nagaland: The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has formally commenced the annual High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Class 10 board examinations 2023-24 from today – February 13th, 2024.
Over 22,000 enrolled students are appearing in this year’s matriculation exams conducted at various designated centers across Nagaland.
Key NBSE HSLC Class 10 Board Exam Details:
- Duration: 3 Hours (9:45 AM to 1:00 PM)
- Total Students: 22,136
- Last Paper: February 23rd, 2024
Carrying a printed admit card is mandatory for gaining exam hall entry after due verification. Students also need to mark roll numbers correctly in answer booklets using a specified color pen.
Passing Criteria
A minimum of 30% aggregate marks required for HSLC qualification. Compartmental and improvement provisions were newly introduced last year as per NEP 2020 to prevent dropouts.
Important Items Allowed
Only admit cards, and stationery items like pens, school ID cards, etc. Electronic devices like mobile phones are strictly prohibited.
Authorities and the CM urged students to prepare dedicatedly for papers ahead, follow requisite exam day guidelines, and perform excellently in their crucial board exam journey.
