New Delhi, April 9, 2024: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced that the window for applying for Class 10 scrutiny and compartment exams will close today, 9 April 2024. This is the last opportunity for students to initiate the re-evaluation process or register for the compartment exams, which offer a chance to clear the subjects they failed in the regular BSEB Class 10 examinations.
BSEB Class 10 Scrutiny Process
- Students who wish to apply for scrutiny of their answer sheets must pay a fee of ₹120 per subject.
- The scrutiny process will allow the board to re-evaluate the answer sheets and identify any discrepancies in the marks awarded.
- If any errors are found during the scrutiny, the BSEB will publish revised results for the concerned candidates.
BSEB Class 10 Compartment Exams 2024
- The compartment exams are being organized by the Bihar Board to provide an opportunity for students who failed in one or two subjects in the regular Class 10 examinations.
- To be eligible for the compartment exams, students must have scored at least 150 marks overall but failed in one or two subjects.
- However, those who failed in more than two subjects are not eligible to appear for the BSEB Matric compartment exams 2024.
- The results of the compartment exams will be announced by 31 May 2024.
BSEB Class 10 Result 2024
- The BSEB Class 10 board exam results were announced on 31 March 2024.
- The overall pass percentage recorded was 82.91%, with a total of 16,64,252 students clearing the exams.
- Out of the total, 8,05,467 were boys, and 8,58,785 were girls.
The BSEB’s decision to close the scrutiny and compartment exam registration window today marks the final opportunity for Class 10 students to initiate the re-evaluation process or apply for the supplementary exams. Candidates are advised to complete the necessary formalities before the deadline to ensure their eligibility for the upcoming compartment exams or revised results, if applicable.
