New Delhi, April 5, 2024 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to close the registration window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2024 exam today, April 5. Interested candidates who have not yet registered for the exam are advised to do so by visiting the official website, ctet.Nic.in, before the deadline.
Some key highlights of the CTET July 2024 exam:
1. Exam Date: The CTET 2024 exam will be conducted on July 7, 2024 across the country.
2. Exam Pattern: The CTET exam will consist of two papers – Paper 1 for teaching classes 1-5 and Paper for teaching classes 6-8. Each paper will have 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
3. Application Fees:
- General/OBC category: Rs. 1,000 for one paper, Rs. 1,200 for both papers.
- SC/ST/PWD category: Rs. 500 for one paper, Rs. 600 for both papers.
4. Documents Required:
- The scanned image of the latest photograph in JPG/JPEG format.
- The scanned image of the signature in JPG/JPEG format.
- Debit/credit card or net banking for fee payment.
5. Exam Shifts: The CTET 2024 exam will be conducted in two shifts – Paper 2 in the morning (9:30 AM to 12 PM) and Paper 1 in the afternoon (2 PM to 4:30 PM).
Candidates are advised to thoroughly review the CTET exam pattern and syllabus and submit their application forms well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.
