The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released the provisional answer key for the D.El.Ed CET 2026 on its official website, hpbose.org. Candidates who appeared for the entrance test, held on 31 May 2026, can now download the answer key and match their responses. Those dissatisfied with any answer in the provisional key can raise objections on or before 11 July 2026, after which HPBOSE will prepare the final answer key used for result preparation.
How to Download the HPBOSE D.El.Ed CET Answer Key 2026
Candidates can check and download the HPBOSE D.El.Ed CET answer key 2026 by following these steps:

- Visit the official website — hpbose.org
- Look for the “D.El.Ed CET 2026 Provisional Answer Key” link
- Log in using your Application Number and Date of Birth
- Download the set-wise (Set A, B, C, D) answer key and response sheet
- Cross-check your marked answers against the official key
The response sheet, which is a scanned copy of the OMR sheet, allows candidates to verify exactly what was recorded against their name before deciding whether to object.
Process to Challenge the Answer Key
Candidates who spot a discrepancy in the HPBOSE D.El.Ed CET answer key 2026 must follow the prescribed objection process within the given window:
- Log in to the HPBOSE portal using Application Number and Date of Birth
- Click on the “Raise Objection / Challenge Answer Key” link
- Select the specific question(s) being challenged
- Upload supporting evidence, such as a textbook reference or authoritative source
- Pay the applicable objection fee per question, if prescribed
- Submit before the 11 July 2026 deadline, as late submissions will not be entertained
HPBOSE’s expert committee will review each objection individually, and only accepted challenges will be reflected in the revised, final key. The objection fee is refunded for any challenge found valid.
What Happens After the Objection Window Closes
Once the challenge window closes, HPBOSE will finalise the answer key and use it to prepare the D.El.Ed CET 2026 result and merit list, expected to be declared in July 2026, based on previous-year patterns. Only candidates who meet the category-wise qualifying marks will be eligible for the subsequent D.El.Ed counselling process, which leads to admission into the 2-year D.El.Ed (JBT) programme for the 2026-28 session. Seats are available across Government DIETs and privately affiliated D.El.Ed institutes in Himachal Pradesh, totalling close to 2,450 seats this cycle. Candidates are advised to keep checking hpbose.org regularly for updates on the final answer key, result date, and counselling schedule.
