New Delhi, March 22, 2024: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has extended the registration deadline for the recruitment of Constable (General Duty) vacancies until March 28, 2024. Interested candidates who have not yet applied can complete the HSSC GD constable application form via the official website, hssc.gov.in.
The recruitment aims to fill a total of 6,000 vacancies for constables, with 5,000 positions designated for male constables and 1,000 positions allocated for female constables.

HSSC GD constable selection process
The selection process comprises a written exam, knowledge test, physical measurement test (PMT), and physical standard test (PST). The knowledge test, comprising multiple-choice questions, holds 94.5% weightage in the selection process. Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized education board or institute. Additionally, candidates must have passed Class 10 with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects. Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years of age as of February 1, 2024, with relaxations for reserved categories as per government norms. The date and time for the HSSC GD constable exam will be announced at a later time. The link to download the admit card will be activated on the official website, hssc.gov.in.
