New Delhi, March 20, 2024: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for fresh admissions to the January 2024 session. The last date to apply for fresh admission to IGNOU’s January 2024 session has been extended until March 31, 2024. Candidates can apply for online and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programs through the official website, ignou.ac.in.

IGNOU January 2024 Admission: Document required
When applying for IGNOU’s ODL and online programs, candidates must upload scanned copies of the following documents:
- Photograph (less than 100 KB)
- Signature (less than 100 KB)
- Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB)
- Experience certificate (less than 200 KB)
- Category certificate (less than 200 KB).
Candidates who have previously enrolled in any program through the IGNOU portal can access their accounts using their username and password. If they encounter any difficulties, they can contact their regional center for assistance, such as account resets or updating contact information.
IGNOU offers a wide range of online programs in fields such as BA Tourism Studies, BCom, BCA, BLIS, MA Hindi, MA Journalism and Mass Communication, MA English, MA Sanskrit, MBA, MCom, MCA, and PG Diploma in Sustainability Science.
