New Delhi, March 16, 2024: The 30th edition of Techkriti at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur commenced on March 14, 2024, with a grand inauguration ceremony attended by esteemed personalities including IIT Kanpur director S Ganesh, and air chief marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria (Rtd).
Event Highlights:
Theme: The fest is themed ‘The Cosmic Nexus’, celebrating its pearl anniversary.
Activities: The inaugural day featured a Raga event, followed by a comedy night featuring Samay Raina and a mesmerizing LED show. The day culminated in a lively hip-hop house party with performances by talented artists Yungsta, Ab 17, and YKSDOG.
Panel Discussion: A panel discussion on ‘Renewable energy and forest conservation for a green economy’ was organized on the second day.
Interactive Session: An interactive session with YouTuber Gaurav Thakur provided insights and entertainment.
Tech Planet: Exhibitions showcased the latest technological advancements.
Megaworld: Activities included Laser Tag with Gel Blaster, PS5 Car Consoles, VR Gaming, Target Shooting, Body Zorbing, and a fascinating Boiler Room exhibit.
Concert: Singer Ankit Tiwari performed hit songs like ‘Teri Galiyan’ and ‘Sunn Raha Hai’, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
Musical Performance: Befikra Tejas captivated the audience with a soulful musical performance, marking a perfect end to the day’s events.
