The Indian Navy has officially released the Agniveer (Apprentice) Recruitment 2026 notification for the 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches under the INET 2/2026 recruitment cycle. Online applications will be accepted from June 5, 2026 to June 29, 2026 at 5:00 PM at the official recruitment portal joinindiannavy.gov.in. This recruitment is open to unmarried Indian male candidates who have passed Class 10 and completed a 3-year engineering diploma from an AICTE-recognised polytechnic.

After completing 4 years of service, Agniveers receive a Seva Nidhi corpus as a lump-sum benefit. Outstanding Agniveers are also eligible for permanent enrolment in the Indian Navy.
