This is a non-binding simulation only — no fee is required, no seat is confirmed, and candidates can and must revise their preferences before the final choice lock deadline of June 11, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
Every candidate who has completed JoSAA registration and filled at least one choice is automatically included in the mock allotment. The result shows a predicted seat based on the candidate’s current choice order and rank. Two mock rounds are scheduled: Round 1 today on June 8 at 2:00 PM and Round 2 on June 10 at 1:00 PM.

How to Use Mock Round 1 Results Strategically
After reviewing the Round 1 mock result:
- If you are satisfied with the predicted seat: Verify that all better preferences above it in your list are realistic, then check Round 2 result on June 10 before locking
- If you are not satisfied: Move better but realistic preferences higher in the list; add new choices if you missed any programmes; remove choices you are not interested in
- Female candidates: Check whether female supernumerary seats at preferred IITs are missing from your list
- NIT candidates: Verify Home State vs Other State quota designations for each NIT choice
