Round 2 Cutoff Trends
Popular branches like CSE, AI, and Data Science at top IITs and NITs typically see minimal upgrade movement in Round 2. However, Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgical, Biotechnology, and Chemical engineering branches across NITs and IIITs often show significant opening and improvement for candidates with ranks just outside Round 1 cutoffs. After Round 5, all remaining NIT, IIIT, and GFTI seats move to CSAB counselling for two special rounds.
