New Delhi, March 15, 2024: The registration window for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2024 with late fee is closing today, March 15. Aspirants who haven’t applied yet can fill out the MHT CET application form 2024 on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. The deadline for fee payment is tomorrow, March 16.
Candidates need to pay a late fee of Rs 500 in addition to the examination fee. For candidates from Maharashtra, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), and Jammu and Kashmir migrants, the application fee is Rs 1,000. Backward class candidates, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), orphans, and transgender candidates have to pay Rs 800.
How to Apply for MHT CET 2024:
1. Visit the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
2. Click on ‘Candidate registration AY 2024-25.’
3. Register and generate login credentials.
4. Sign in using the generated credentials and complete the application form.
5. Upload the necessary documents.
6. Click on ‘save changes’ to complete the registration.
Candidates are advised to ensure accuracy in their name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number, as these fields cannot be edited once saved. Any mistakes in these fields require candidates to ‘Raise a Ticket’ on the helpdesk module for updating.
This marks the second extension of the registration period for MHT CET 2024. Initially, the application submission window closed on March 2, which was later extended to March 8 without a late fee.
The MHT CET exam 2024 is scheduled to be conducted from April 16 to 30 for admission to undergraduate engineering programs offered at state engineering colleges.
