MIT University Sikkim offers admission to the following programmes:
Undergraduate (UG) Programmes
- BCA: Bachelor of Computer Applications
- BBA: Bachelor of Business Administration
- B.Sc: Agriculture, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Science
- BA: English, Psychology, Sociology, Mass Communication & Journalism
Postgraduate (PG) Programmes
- MBA: Master of Business Administration with specialisations in Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations

Eligibility Criteria
For UG Programmes
Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognised board with the following minimum marks:
- B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA: 50 per cent and above (45 per cent for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
- BBA / BA: 50 per cent and above (45 per cent for reserved categories) in any stream
For PG Programmes
Candidates must hold a recognised undergraduate degree in the relevant discipline with:
- M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc: 55 per cent and above (50 per cent for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
- MBA: 50 per cent and above (45 per cent for reserved categories) in any discipline
Final-year students awaiting results are also eligible to apply provisionally. They must submit proof of qualification before the commencement of classes.
Admission Process
Admissions are granted based on:
- Merit in qualifying examination
- Entrance examination scores (JEE Main for B.Tech, CAT/MAT/CMAT for MBA, where applicable)
- Personal interview conducted by the university (for select programmes)
Mode of Study
All programmes are offered in regular, full-time mode at the MIT University Sikkim campus in Gangtok. Courses are conducted with classroom teaching, practical sessions, workshops, and industry exposure modules.

- UG Programmes: 3 to 4 years (B.Tech: 4 years, BBA/BCA/BA/B.Sc: 3 years)
- PG Programmes: 2 years

Fee Structure

- B.Tech: ₹80,000 to ₹1.2 lakh per annum
- BCA / BBA / BA / B.Sc: ₹50,000 to ₹80,000 per annum
Postgraduate Programmes
- M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc: ₹1 lakh to ₹1.5 lakh per annum
- MBA: ₹1.5 lakh to ₹2 lakh per annum

Scholarships & Financial Assistance
