Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university with:

• Minimum 55% marks for General/EWS/OBC (Creamy Layer) candidates
• Minimum 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwD candidates
• For professional programmes, Bachelor’s degree holders with relevant research experience may also be considered eligible

Entrance Examination

Candidates must have qualified in any of the following:

• UGC NET (including JRF)
• Any equivalent national-level examination
• MIT University Exam

Note: Candidates without these qualifications must appear for the university entrance test conducted by MIT University Sikkim.

Work Experience (Preferred)

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Research publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Relevant professional or research experience in their field

The selection will be conducted through the following stages:
