NEET UG 2024 application correction window begins on March 18

New Delhi, March 14, 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the application correction window for NEET UG 2024 on March 18. Candidates can make changes to their NEET UG 2024 application form through the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. The correction window will remain open until March 20, 2024.

Additional Fees: Candidates must pay any additional fees required for corrections online using credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI. Changes in Gender, Category, or PwD status may affect the fee amount, and candidates will be charged any excess fee accordingly. Excess payments made will not be refunded.

Editable Fields: Candidates will be able to edit all fields and uploaded documents in the NEET UG application form except the contact mobile number and email used at the time of registration.

NEET UG 2024 Exam Pattern:

  • Exam Mode: Offline
  • Exam Timing: 2:00 pm to 5:20 pm
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Total Questions: 200 (180 applicable questions for attempt)
  • Total Marks: 720
  • Negative Marking: Yes
  • Scoring System: +4 marks for each correct answer, -1 mark for each incorrect answer, and 0 marks for unattempted questions.

Exam Date: The NEET UG 2024 exam will be conducted by NTA on May 5, 2024, at various exam centres across the country. The exam will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:20 pm in offline mode.

Registration Deadline Extension: The registration deadline for NEET UG 2024 has been extended until March 16, following representations from candidates. More than 25 lakh candidates have registered for the NEET UG exam 2024 thus far.

Candidates are advised to utilize the application correction window to make necessary changes to their NEET UG 2024 application form before the deadline.
