NTA has introduced several new security measures for NEET 2026 to ensure a fair and transparent examination process:
1. Mandatory Aadhaar eKYC Verification
All candidates must complete Aadhaar-based eKYC verification during the registration process. The mobile number linked to the candidate’s Aadhaar will be used for real-time identity verification.
2. Live Photograph Capture
Candidates are required to capture a live photograph using a webcam or mobile camera during the application process. This image will be used for verification at the examination centre.
3. Strict Image Specifications
- The candidate’s face must cover 80% of the frame
- No caps, goggles, or tinted spectacles are allowed
- The background must be plain white
- The photograph must be recent and clear
4. Enhanced Security Protocols
Only one application form per candidate is permitted. Duplicate applications will be rejected, and strict action will be taken against candidates found violating this rule.
