February 5, 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the NEET UG 2026 registration process soon on the official website at neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates aspiring for admission to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses must complete the application process within the deadline once the registration window opens.

NEET UG 2026 Registration: Eligibility Criteria

Age Criteria:

  • Candidates must be at least 17 years of age as on December 31, 2026
  • There is no upper age limit for NEET UG 2026

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination
  • General category: Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology
  • SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD: Minimum 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology

Attempt Limit:

  • There is no restriction on the number of attempts for NEET 2026

NEET UG 2026: How to Register?

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to complete the NEET UG 2026 registration process:

Step 1: Visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘New Registration’ link available on the home page

Step 3: Read the instructions carefully and click on ‘Proceed’

Step 4: Fill in the personal details to generate Application Number and Password

Step 5: Login using the credentials and enter personal details, academic qualifications, and exam city preferences

Step 6: Upload the required documents as per specifications

Step 7: Pay the application fee through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI

Step 8: Click on submit and download the confirmation page

Step 9: Take a printout for future reference
