February 13, 2024,New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 Session 1 result on the official website – jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates who appeared in the entrance exam held from January 24 to February 1, 2024, can now download their scorecards online.
JEE Main 2024: Result Credentials
To access the JEE Main result, students need to enter their application number and date of birth. The scorecard mentions crucial details including total NTA scores, percentile, All India Rank (AIR), etc.
JEE Main 2024 Exam Patter
JEE Main paper 1 is held for admission to BE/BTech programs, while paper 2 is for BArch and BPlanning admissions. The exams were conducted in 13 languages last month.
Re-evaluation Requests JEE Main 2024 Results
NTA has clearly stated that no re-evaluation requests for JEE Main Session 1 scores will be permitted post-result declaration. The final NTA scores are decided based on the revised final answer key incorporating challenges raised by students.
JEE Main 2024 Selection Process
Based on Session 1 performance, students meeting the cutoff will qualify to appear for JEE Advanced 2023. Admission to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs will be based on the best of two Session scores, while other institutes may consider single Session marks.
Candidates must download their JEE Main 2024 scorecards from the portal to understand their overall and subject-wise marks for self-evaluation.
