Bhubaneswar, February 27, 2024: The Odisha Board of Secondary Education on Monday strongly dismissed allegations that the Mathematics question paper for ongoing Class 10 board exams was leaked. Earlier, purported images of the Maths paper circulated on social media within hours of the exam held on February 27th, triggering this controversy.
Addressing media, Board president Srikanth Tarai cleared the air afirming the examinations have been conducted in a completely fair manner so far. He appealed to the 5.5 lakh appearing students to continue writing the papers confidently without confusion over fake leaks. The English question paper was similarly alleged to have leaked on February 24th as per unverified social media claims.
