New Delhi, March 13, 2024: The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is scheduled to hold its 38th convocation ceremony on March 16, 2024. Mallika Srinivasan, the Chairperson and Managing Director of Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited will grace the occasion as the chief guest, while N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of the Board of Governors, will preside over the event.
Key Highlights:
- A total of 785 students will be conferred degrees at the convocation, marking another milestone in their academic journey.
- Among the degree recipients, 504 students belong to the 38th batch of the postgraduate program in management (MBA), representing a significant cohort of future business leaders.
- Additionally, 56 students from the 19th cohort of the postgraduate program in agri-business management (MBA-ABM), 18 students from the Doctoral Programme in Management (Ph.D.), and six students from the executive fellow program in Management (PhD) will be honored.
- The convocation will also celebrate the achievements of 41 students from the eighth cohort of the Post Graduate Programme in Sustainable Management (MBA-SM), 106 students from the 16th batch of the international program in management for executives, and 54 students from the 18th batch of the postgraduate program in management for working executives.
IIM Lucknow Placement 2024:
- The placement drive at IIM Lucknow for the 38th batch of the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and the 19th batch of the Postgraduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM) achieved significant success, securing 576 placements. participating students securing 634 offers.
- Over 250 domestic and international recruiters participated in the placement drive, underscoring the institute’s global reputation and industry relevance.
- Leading recruiters include ABG, Accenture, Adani Group, Bain and Company, BCG, Deloitte, Jio Financial Services, Kearney, McKinsey, Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, PwC, Samagra, Shell, VISA, Target, and TAS, among many more.
- The highest international package offered stood at Rs 1.23 crore per annum (CPA), while the highest domestic salary package reached Rs 65 lakh per annum, reflecting the caliber of talent nurtured at IIM Lucknow.
- The average mean package for students was an impressive Rs 30 LPA, reaffirming the institute’s commitment to fostering excellence and facilitating rewarding career opportunities for its graduates.
