The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2026 application window is active at ssc.gov.in, and the last date to apply is June 22, 2026 at 11:00 PM. The notification, released on May 21, 2026, covers 12,256 vacancies across 40 Group B and Group C posts in central government ministries, departments, and organisations.

1. Sectional Timing in Tier 1 — First Time in SSC History
- Each of the four sections will have a fixed time of 15 minutes in Tier 1
- Sections: Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English
- The screen will automatically move to the next section when time expires
- Candidates cannot go back to a previous section
2. New Paper III in Tier 2
- Added exclusively for Assistant Audit Officer (AAO) and Assistant Accounts Officer posts
- Covers General Studies in Finance and Economics
Eligibility and Age Limit
- Must hold a graduation degree from any recognized university
- Age: 18 to 32 years as of August 1, 2026 (category-wise relaxation as per government rules)
