The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that the NEET UG 2026 re-examination will be held on June 21, 2026, after the original exam conducted on May 3 was cancelled following serious allegations of a paper leak. This is one of the biggest developments in Indian medical education in recent years, affecting approximately 24 lakh medical aspirants across the country.
The original NEET UG 2026 examination was cancelled on May 12, 2026, after Rajasthan Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) discovered a “guess paper” that allegedly contained 140 questions matching the actual exam paper. The case triggered a CBI investigation and nationwide protests by students and parents.
