The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) officially started its June 2026 Term-End Examinations (TEE) from June 1, 2026. The exams will continue until July 21, 2026, across hundreds of examination centres in India and overseas. Lakhs of students enrolled in undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate, and professional programmes are appearing this session.
The IGNOU June 2026 TEE is one of the largest open distance learning examinations in the world, covering students from all parts of India including remote and rural areas, Gulf countries, and Lakshadweep.

Exam Pattern Details
- Some courses follow MCQ or OMR-based objective pattern
- Other courses are conducted in descriptive format
- A select set of courses including BSHF101, FST01, BLI series, BEVAE181, and BSSS183 are conducted in objective OMR format
Who Is Eligible to Appear
- Students must have valid course registration for the session
- Completion of the minimum programme duration is mandatory
- All required assignments must have been submitted on time
- Change of exam date or session will not be permitted under any circumstances

Students must carry their hall ticket to the examination centre. Practical exam dates are being announced separately by respective IGNOU regional centres. Students with discrepancies in their date sheet can write to datesheet@ignou.ac.in.
