The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has added multiple new payment methods to its Class 12 Post-Result Activities portal at @cbse.gov.in, offering significant relief to the large number of students who had faced payment gateway failures and incomplete transactions during the initial days after the portal opened on June 1, 2026.
This comes after widespread complaints from students and parents about payment failures when applying for scanned copies of evaluated answer books, triggered by the earlier HDFC gateway glitch that caused incorrect deductions for thousands of students in late May 2026.

What New Payment Methods Have Been Added
CBSE has now enabled the following payment options on the revaluation and post-result portal:
- State Bank of India (SBI) Internet Banking
- Canara Bank Internet Banking
- Bank of Baroda Internet Banking
- Indian Bank Internet Banking
- UPI payment through BHIM and partner apps
- Debit card and credit card with enhanced server stability
This addition follows the emergency review meeting chaired by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan with officials of four major PSU banks earlier this week.
Revaluation Portal Performance Update
CBSE has confirmed the portal recorded over 28,000 successful submissions after the security and infrastructure upgrade. Despite the earlier cyberattack that allowed 50 students unauthorised access, the board confirmed all known vulnerabilities have been contained following review by expert teams from IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur.
